Welcome <3
My name is AJ Urban and I was born and raised in Los Angeles, California! Following in my sister’s footsteps I started dancing at the age of three and I haven’t stopped since. Throughout my childhood and into my teens I was able to have several incredible experiences including touring with Adrenaline and Revive Dance conventions, working in several concert dance companies, and being apart of Edge PAC’s first ever Teen Company. I got to work with so many incredible people during that time including Sabrina Phillip, Adam Parson, Bill Prudich, Dean Bias, Christina Woodard, Laura Quinn, and many others.
When I was seventeen I enrolled into Pace University’s Commercial Dance B.F.A. Program. Even with the challenge of Covid-19 during my freshman year I was still able to have memorable and unique experiences including being in my first dance short film under the direction of Lisa Eaton, working on contract in new and exciting places, and being in both seasonal shows in my program. I was also able to foster meaningful connections with incredible mentors like Lauren Gaul, Shay Bland, Ginger Cox, among many others.
In 2024 I joined Virgin Voyages in their original show, "Another Rose" produced by Randy Weiner and Directed by Andrew Neisler. While touring the world I have been able to work with broadway level choreographers such as Mayte Natalio and Clinton Edwards.
